Krabi ( Sra Marakot, The Crystal Lagoon)

So this post is about Sra Marakot also known as The Crystal Lagoon, The Emerald Pool.

This is the blue pool. Though it's Crystal clear, swimming is not allowed here for safety reason on the risk of sucking mud.

It's so mesmerized how the Crystal clear water came to exist in the middle of nowhere in the jungle

But you can swim here though .... The Emerald Pool.





It's located in the district of Klong Thom about 80 km for our hotel at Ao Nang. We rent motorcycle for 200 baht one day.




It takes 2 hours to reach here. And 1 km walk in to the forest before you can swim here. Gigihkan! That's the price you have to pay to see this amazing natural blue pool right from your eyes.

We add extra 15 minutes ride hell through damn jalan kampung berlubang2 tanah merah selut after following the maps online direction . Dah tu kelas tahu , time balik mmg xlalu dah lah jalan tu, Ada je jalan tar tapi mana hala tag maps tu tunjuk

Ticket price for foreigner is 200 baht. Ten times more than for local ticket. So if you look like siamese and can speak thai maybe you can enter for just 20 baht. Haha



At the enterance you will welcome by the elephant. Not real one though

No proven scientifically, but they say the water can make your skin healthier since it cames underground from volcano. But hey we are so ugly we need to immerse ourself in the pool 😂

Near the area you can find hotspring. But we don't have enough time to cover the area .



After exploring the area, singgah makan kat Adeela Delicious, a Muslim stall at front of the area. Delicious pad Thai and ayam bakaq. Tuan kedai asal org Yala pesan suruh promote kedai dia hahahaha



Next we have to explore in raincoat since its start to rain. Hey gigihkan dengan helmet Xda visor redah hujan hahaha we are so cute (effect after swimming in the emerald pool lah kot)....
